This was his first year and first time living away from home. He had grown up in Burgress but for college he had wanted to leave home and now he was a bit homesick and found it hard to sleep in his dorm. So he had gotten up, walking around in his pj's which consisted of a plain white t-shirt with blue striped pants. He didn't own any slippers so naturally he was walking around in just his socks.

Jack decided to buy something from the vending machine just then. Maybe a snack was just what he needed to go to sleep. So he had put his money in the machine only to have his bag of chips get stuck. Of course he had done the only sane thing to do in this situation which was to stick his hand in the vending machine. Jack had managed to get a hold of the chips, but now his hand was stuck. He was stuck in this position for a while until he heard footsteps coming his way.

"Yeah...know how this looks but, uh, ya mind giving a guy here a hand?"

Bang bang bang . Joy stood along the side of a mouth of a small cave. It was far enough from Pitch's lair that he wouldn't notice her presence gone, but wouldn't hear her either. She had grown bored sitting in her room for days at a time until Pitch had use of her.

Now here she stood, not knowing what to do with what little freedom she took. Joy growled lowly in aggravation, banging her head against the rock. She hadn't noticed the nearby presence.
