☄ — Height. You’re so tall... like... giant status. I’m already considered above average in height, but you’re literally almost a good 20 cm taller than me. It’s cute, though. That’s what makes you extremely charmin’. And you look good with me? I kind of balance your height out, and we have that leeway to still take cute couple pictures. 

☄ — You’re surprisingly cuter than I expected. Always thinking about what’ll make me smile and how to make me.... how do you say.... scream that “you’re icky.” It’s not even like you’re trying to do the cute.... but you are the cute.

☄ — Very understanding. Cannot stress this enough. You listen to me, you realize what I like, what I don’t like, and you make an effort to help me with my problems to its entirety. You’re willing to sit down and hold my hand, consoling me through whatever mood I’m in. 

☄ — Such a patient man. Never jumping out of the boundaries. You know Naeun would kill you if you did, whoop. Your patience combined with your gentleman-like attitude is refreshing to be around. I’ve known you for so long, and it’s kind of funny for us to be.... a thing now? And you waited until now? Patience is truly a virtue. Goes a long way, eh?

☄ — Beautiful smile. Beautiful man. Just beautiful inside and out. I can’t really describe it (you know how bad with words I am, please forgive me). I don’t know. I just really like you, that’s all.

Light summer drizzle hits the window of the black window still, curtains rumbling slightly from the sudden shift in pressure. She sat in the leather love seat beside the framework, holding a warm cup of coffee between her fingertips, taking in the aroma of the freshly brewed drink. She was drowsy, from all the practice and performances her group had this week. It was just the beginning, too. 

The rain droplets hitting against the glass calmed her down, taking away any sudden tension she felt, removing the stress of promotions from her mind completely. Her eyes fell shut, a soft hum vibrating past her lips. She’s now welcomed with strong arms wrapped around her waist, her back pressed against his chest. His lips found her temple, giving her a little peck before burying himself into her neck’s crook. 

Seolhyun smiled slightly, her left hand reaching down to lace their fingers together, pressing a kiss to his knuckles individually. No words were exchanged in the span of two minutes, just loving touches and suppressed laughs from both parties. Their hands are just resting on each other’s now, the difference in size remarkable. Breaking the comfortable silence, she shifts, glancing at him with a little grin. “Let’s do something fun.”

“Fun? Like what? It’s raining out there...”

“Exactly.” 

Then they were off. Seolhyun in her oversized shirt and shorts, comfortable sandals for the impromptu mission. She’s on the rooftop now, her hair slowly wetting from the incoming droplets. Her hands flail a little as she twirls around, stopping to pose with her hands out, urging him to follow her out. It was a wild decision on her part, dancing in the rain. They’ll both end up sick, maybe even unable to attend any schedules. But the fact that they were together, forgetting about their surroundings to have some fun—made it worth while.

They weren’t idols right now. They didn’t have to put on a mask for the public. They were just two lovestruck kids, embracing their youth. No titles, no cameras around. Purely themselves, and no one else.

[`places a box atop the drummer’s bed which contained his birthday gift and a card] 

(/coming home from the birthday event, he immediately sees the presents lying on his bed, and while he was unbuttoning his shirt to get ready to take a quick bath, he reads the card with a grin slowly appearing on his features) Ah, Jungshin-ah. (/he snickers, taking the card first, then his new "toy," as he would deem it as) This is really cool.. (/he slips out his phone from his pocket to send a kakao message to the other)
