TORI: Hey, hey Tumblers!  Tori here with a little JUpdate ;{) I’ve called it JUpdate because it’s like saying Just an Update or Jori Update. JUpdate!  JADE: For the record, I did not approve the name. I was happy to leave you all in the dark but Vega insisted you needed to know about our lives. TORI: So here’s your JUpdate! Jade was offered another management job with Jet Brew but she turned it down because she didn’t like the new location.  JADE: It was in Kansas . No one goes to Kansas. It’s like the Denny’s of America. You don’t GO to Denny’s you END UP at Denny’s...no offense. 

TORI: And I’ve recorded my first demo and submitted it to Mason Thornsmith! I don’t know when he’ll get around to listening to it...or if he ever will but fingers and toes crossed! 

JADE: Meanwhile Cat is thinking about fashion colleges, Sam refuses to do anything, Andre is trying to record his own music, Beck’s in Canada on a hiking trip, no one cares about Trina, and Robbie is still...Robbie.

lol so its been my first week at university and for some reason i have a need to express the week like i always start doing and then give up after a few weeks

I officially officially moved in last saturday after moving in part 1 on the thursday before with my mum and i had the biggest pizza in the world and i still havent recovered oh my god the way up saturday in the car it was the most torrential rain i have ever seen #M1NorthBoundSquad but by the time we actually got into newcastle the sun was shining and it was a lovely lovely day hurraaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

sunday was the great north run so i headed to the foot bridge just outside of my building and cheered everyone on, then had a wonder into town and bought some vegan cookies, the chocoalte chip ones tasted like shit oh my god, but the ginger biscuits were premium

ive been going to bed so early like lmao this is the opposite of freshers week but in my defence i am more than 90% likely anaemic af if my mums anything to go by and ive just been zonked the whole time

monday was the freshers fair and i got some free shit but it was pretty underwhelming really there wasnt as much stuff as they said there would be like bruh cmon im from yorkshire give me free shit i got a birb badge from the rspb lady she was really nice … I saw jesus christ super star at the theatre also on monday!! it was very very good its basically the story of easter with more angst and set to rock tunes

ive been having like induction lessons and stuff and most of them pointless it pissed it down on tuesday it was a really miserable morning which then led me to buying a coat on wednesday bc holy shit i have not had a coat in at least 5 years maybe longer

i went to the soc fair and so far i have joined the gays*, and the young greens.  i also put my name down for the femme soc but honestly idk if i can be bothered like i am v for equality but they all seem book loving really really into it feminists and pfffffffffffft i havent paid so i dont have to do anything, i also wanted to join the musical theatre bc lmao lmao we were talking about it when we saw jcss and it seems fun but also a lot of work bc they meet twice a week and aaaaaAAAAAAAAA i have a packed timetableAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

i also want to know, how do the japanese students feel about the weeb soc

on wednesday i met my north east baes Laura and Lizz and its so nice to see them its been years Lauras mam was like “aaah jemma yes shes part of the brotherhood” fvgays for life<3 met Lizzs cute puppy and aaaAAAA tiny tiny dog

i wnt food shopping on thursday and i felt so proud o myself!! only spent £20 and i had exact change im awesome and hilarious, i bought iron w/ vitamin c tablets so in 3 months time i should be raring to take on anything!! i also met another young green in holland and barrett and he gave me a h&b loyalty card and was like “do you want the one with the fox” and i was like “okie👍” but its a fucking squirrel get your wildlife right man its a red english squirrel not a freaking fox oh my gosh some people

and yesterday i watched gotg, hoovered my room and the lounge and im not doing that again in a hurry bc the carpet is that type of carpet you cannot for the life of you move the hover nozzle brush thing over, then got ready and went to see Natalie Bennett talk at newcastle uni and shes so wonderful like genuinely really nice, rob was there and talking to him i realized how un-yorkshrie ive been talking to everyone else bc like talking to rob like im a farmer or somethign 

and last night was terrifying, because at 2 in the morning people came running down the stairs screaming there was a fire and i dont know what was happening upstairs but they were charging around and i was terrified my ceiling was going to collapse but then i started to disassociate really hard because i knew i wasnt dreaming but there was no one to prove i wasnt and out of my window i couldnt see anyone but i could hear them all talking and it was the most terrifying night and i realized i do not want to ever be left in the flat on my own anymore

but today has been chill i slept in then wrote up my timetable and then went for a walk and now im just here writing whatever the hell this is might read ufology and take a nap, and tomorrow maybe go to the market on the quayside and go to the baltic before the start of my real lessons at uni and im bricking it
