Why do George and Walt hate each other so much?
I'm genuinely asking and wanting an answer. I feel like I'm missing something. I know Walt is a little jealous George just inherited everything while Walt's been working. And they view the world differently. But I've never seen them as adversaries or any dislike that would mean the wall wouldn't work. With Walt and Sheldon it makes sense, but not with Walt and George.
So, did I miss something?
Or are we supposed to see very very thin subcontext from episode 3 with George's carnation and the into/exit song featuring the word gay (yes for the time period meaning happy, but, you know, double meanings and all) and use that to assume he's queer and he and Walt are ex lovers or something? Because I'm lost.
