take the world back;
As time passed, Eris grew more and more concerned with the amount of numbers that were dropping all across the Lotus ranks—this had never bothered her very much before, but it was when those that she associated with often and worked alongside were disappearing. The pessimist in her assumed they were all dying or dead, that there was nothing that could be done to fix it.
It happened every so often, and suddenly, it bothered her that it hadn’t seemed to be much of a topic of concern. Perhaps it shouldn’t have been to her, considering she was often cause for the disappearances of others without batting an eye, without bothering to look back. But that was business.
This seemed more of a threat to the circle she held close, a threat to the entirety of their establishment.
She was thinking too much, taking in a deep breath to quietly let out —all she needed to be concerned about right now was making sure her car was running well and to tune and fix things that were needed. Although...stepping into the familiar shop was a constant reminder of a particular missing person, Jongup.
She had grown use to working with other mechanics, but that would never be the same—she couldn’t get under their skin, step on their toes, or run to them if she ever came into a particular tricky situation and needed an extra set of hands without raising the concern of superiors.
They didn’t matter to her. She could care less.
With her car keys in hand, Eris stepped into the shop, prepared to deal with just ‘whoever’ was available, but she was stopped dead in her tracks at the sight of a terribly familiar figure. There was no mistaking the defining features for anyone else—he was back.
And she wasn’t sure exactly how she felt about this 360 turn of events.
“Where the hell have you been?”
