I just realized that 140 and 148 is honestly Fruitshipping’s two sides at it’s core. 140 is Yuzu believing that Yuya still exists inside Zarc and that he isn’t a demon but someone that makes everyone happy despite all the evidence to the contrary. Let me remind you that it had been 5 episodes since we heard from Yuya, the Lancers and the legacy characters tried and failed to get a response, it wouldn’t be shocking to think that Yuya was gone like Zarc said. But Yuzu refused to believe it and as much as Zarc tried to refute Yuya’s existence, Yuzu’s belief won out and even Zarc was shocked. EVEN THE DEVIL was shocked at how much she believed in his “alter-ego” and it was because of that belief that Yuya regained control. Throughout the show, it’s always like this. Yuzu’s belief in Yuya always brings him back to his sense and he tries harder to do things right. From Yuzu almost reaching him in 128 to Yuzu believing that he could save the City. A lot of Yuya’s greatest achievements came because she believed in him and he desired to prove her right.
In 148 is the opposite, it’s Yuya doing his best, being the smartest, badasses and entertaining self he can be and it’s making Yuzu react despite her being in stasis and Leo not knowing what’s going on with her. SHE’S IN LIMBO/BARELY ALIVE but even then, Yuya can get a response from her. And the end when Yuya beats Reiji and entertains everyone from the people throughout the dimensions, the dragons, Reiji and even Zarc that Yuzu wills herself and the rest of the girls back to existence, Yuya motivated her to survive. Yuya has always given her motivation to improve herself. She got the idea to get stronger from Yuya, her duel in 69 was motivated by her desire to cheer Yuya up and as she said in 140, it was because of him she grew stronger and never forgot to smile. Yuya motivates Yuzu to grow.
In the end, the two biggest moments in Arc-V was because Yuya and Yuzu had such a positive relationship that they helped each other grow stronger and they succeeded for it.
