I think one of the things I like most about Across the Spiderverse is just how many of the Spider-people clearly have their own rich inner lives and storylines going on in the background. Like, I like Miles and Gwen, I’m glad we get more movies centered around them, but I would watch entire movies following Spider-Punk/Hobie or Spider-Man Desi/Pavitr or Sun-Spider/Charlotte or Spider-Byte/Margo or Lego Spider-Man or any of the others, even without all the Spiderverse stuff, because they all seem like full characters in their own right and I want to know so much more about them.
