Yes. I am this kind of odd. Please don't judge. A blood-smeared, dead-eyed Tim Roth in Heart of Darkness (1994) did something to my brain chemistry as a young teenager. My ovaries didn’t know what to do with it, but they were definitely...doing something. It wasn’t even the gory part. It was the eyes. The thousand-yard stare of a man who’s clearly one mosquito bite away from losing it. Fun fact: I watched this movie for John Malkovich (yes, I thought he was hot in this. no, I will not explain further) but Tim Roth was a very pleasant surprise.

Man, I've been struggling with this the last couple days, but I think it's the right call:

I have no interest in catching up on the hsr story anytime soon nor do I have the time. (I haven't even played the Castorice story yet.)

This means that while I've been spoiled on various things, I don't know enough to follow the story when writing Phainon. My version of him is heavily canon-divergent to begin with and is more hi3's Kevin than Phainon, in truth. I use the name because based on past experience, I know people are much less interested if the character is from hi3 (no shade, I get it, but I want to make my muse attractive so I get to write him this time around. Kevin has been a muse on my blog several times in the past and has never seen any action despite my best efforts).

So, what does this mean? No idea! I'll slowly reach out to people who I have active Phainon threads with to see what's what.

I've been feeling weird on here since everyone's excited and I'm just ... not. And likewise, the stories and characters I'm excited for are seemingly of no interest to a large majority of my mutuals. I'm struggling to find the right crowd to gush about my interests with, and I don't want to be left behind by those I've made connections with in this fandom. This is a me issue, but I figured I'd air it out to see what people think.

Currently, I'm mainly focused on:

Xiao/ZhongXiao, hi3 (i.e. Kevin, Mei), N.aruto (fuck my life) and expedition 33.
