Komi (Komi can’t communicate) and Marin (My dress up darling) with Valentine’s Day prompt 1
Marin and komi asking you to be their valentine
A/n:if you see prompts number in the requests for these valentine's posts it's because i'm doing some of last year's requests when I used prompts for the event, i'm doing that anymore though.

You sighed seeing all of the couples kissing and feeding each other chocolates as you walked through the hallway. it's not like you hated love or something, just not having a girlfriend or a valentine on this particular day felt pretty depressing, even if you tried to hide it you were a bit jealous
You finally made your way to your locker and were about to open it right when you saw another couple hugging beside you, looks like it was gonna be another year without a val-
"Aaahhhh!!!"
You suddenly felt a weight fall on you, you opened your eyes to see......a magical girl?
The girl opened her eyes too and rubbed her head in pain, when she realized she was now laying on top of you she blushed heavily and got up, allowing you to do the same, she started breathing heavily as if she had just ran a marathon
Now that you could see her entire body as she stood in front of you, she really did look like a magical girl, with strawberry pink hair divided into 2 twin tails, an outfit adorned with many hearts on basically every side and even a heart shaped wand/stick that she was holding in her hands, you could have sworn you had seen her in an anime before
"....*huff* i really should have thought about this more *huff* there was way less air in the locker than I expected"
"....you were hiding in my locker?"
When you said that her eyes widened like she had remembered you were there
"A-ah right!"
She raised her wand in the air and suddenly out of nowhere a pink sign saying "will you be my valentine?" With many hearts and images of the girl, appeared
"W-will you be my val-"
Before she could finish the sentence she took a deep breath and fell down, fearing she had passed out due to the lack of oxygen you crouched down to check on her
"Are you ok!? Do i need to call the nurse?"
Thankfully she seemed alright, but looking at her closely made you realize something, the hair was a wig...and her bright pink eyes seemed familiar to you. Once you realized this was a cosplay you immediately knew who this was
".....marin?"
The girl you now recognized fully got up and struck a pose before taking one last deep breath and continuing to talk to you
"I have no idea who this marin is, I am a magic hero came here to protect this planet! Unfortunately my powers have been dwindling recently because they are charged by love...and i haven't been getting any recently, can you believe no one has hugged me in like 3 weeks!? Anyway I have chosen you lucky human to be the one to give me the love I need to defend the earth! By being my valentine!"
You narrowed your eyes and tilted your head
".........what?"
"I have seen that you haven't been receiving any love either recently am I right? Which is totally insane by the way, you're so adorable any girl would be lucky to be with you and on this day in particular everyone needs a little love so.....d-do you actually wanna be my valentine?"
It was funny seeing her this committed to the role but you could definitely see marin's own self shine through in her invitation, even simply for the fact that she was asking to be your valentine in full cosplay and had hidden herself in your locker for who knows how long simply so she could do a cool entrance. That combined with the fact that you had a bit of a crush on your cosplayer classmate made the answer obvious
"Of course"
"R-really ah! I mean, i'm glad you made the right choice now I will be even more powerful!"
"Eheh you know you can drop the act marin i already accepted"
"Eh I guess you're right, this was such a total fail though, I almost suffocated, and I didn't even know if you got the reference for the cosplay"
"To be honest not really but we could watch the anime together tonight"
"Eh!? You'd actually do that?"
"Yeah, it can be a valentine activity"
Marin grinned widely and hugged you without thinking
"Ahhh thank you! Being your valentine was totally worth almost suffocating over"
" ......i-if you say so...Just don't do something like that again"
"Y-yeah don't worry I've learned my lesson"

You never expected to receive chocolates on valentine's day. After all you had no hints that a girl was into you so you assumed that no one was and that you would spend yet another February 14th without a valentine
At least that's what you thought before you found a box of chocolates in your lockers, and not just any box it looked so fancy, with a purple bow around it and beautiful looking chocolate pieces inside. When you tried them half expecting them to be terrible because of some prank they were actually delicious, they tasted sweet and homemade
While you looked around to see if the person responsible for this would show up komi peeked at you from behind a wall blushing like crazy, she couldn't believe she had the courage to do something like that, even if she didn't sign the box or the note she was still worried you'd find out it was her and reject her, she turned away once she saw you starting to look around
Meanwhile you looked in your locker again to see if there was something else besides the box and there was, it was a small piece of paper with the simple text "will you be my valentine?" Written on it
Once you saw it you immediately figured out everything, you recognized that writing very well from all the times you had "spoken" with her so you immediately took out your phone and started texting komi
"Yes, I accept"
"What do you mean?"
"I knew it was you who left the chocolates komi"
"Oh"
"Don't worry i loved them they were genuinely so tasty, did you make them yourself?"
"Yes, my mom helped me, i wanted this to be special"
"Well it definitely was special for me"
"....so are you really sure you want to be my valentine?"
"Of course komi, I never expected you to ask me"
"And I never expected you to accept"
"Of course I would, you're one of the most beautiful and sweet people I ever met"
"....you don't even mind that I can't speak to you?"
"I don't mind at all if anything it makes you look even cuter"
"....you think i'm cute?"
"You're adorable komi, and I would love to be your valentine...and maybe something more in the future if you wouldn't mind😊"
After you sent the last message you suddenly heard a thump of something, or rather someone, falling, you looked in a nearby hallway to see komi's unconscious body on the floor still with a blush on her face, it seemed like she had fainted from the emotion, this wasn't the first time that this happened
You sighed but smiled as you went to wake up komi to start your valentine's date together
