Tbh, as great as a mangaka like Ishida sensei, I cannot imagine he would simply choose to end such a much-layered character like Arima whose important backstory still remains untold. He's not like any other side characters. He's the white reaper the one who's second only to the black reaper...he's the one who makes Kaneki who he is today—a qualified fighter he's finally proud of after three years of training... And for some of us he's one of the reasons we are desperately waiting for the new chapter each week. Ishida sensei, just...please don't do this. PLEASE

okay so I was reading up on the Mark of Cain stuff on the internet. First I have to say bravo to the spn writers cuz there were a lot of different ways they could of gone with it and I feel they made a really good choice. Any to the main point of this post. So I was reading about how the mark is a sign for others of the world not to kill Cain or they will face the wrath of God seven-fold or whatever and it kind of hit me....Cain was the one to kill himself/end his life prematurely....that meant he was to suffer the wrath of God again.....so maybe that's why he turned into a demon. He wanted freedom from becoming a murder machine and so by taking his life he became exactly that because God had wanted him to suffer for killing his brother. So now he must suffer an immortal hell bound life.

Now in the case of Dean, it is a little different. First off the Mark was to tell others not to become what Cain was and to warn them. So in taking the mark from Cain, Dean has already gone against God. So when he died and came back as a demon at the end of the season maybe that was also because he defied God. Now you may say "wait Dean didn't kill himself. Metatron did." and you are correct, but Dean didn't feel any remorse or sadness about dying. He said it was better that way because he didn't want to become the monster that the blade was making him. In the case he is still defying God, so wouldn't he have the same outcome as Cain? Shouldn't he suffer an immortal hell damned life?

Just something to think about......(this probably has plot holes and what not in it but i still think it's a cool idea)
