"One run can change your day,but many runs can change your life." While some runs are definitely better than others, all runs contribute to who you are today, not just as a runner, but as a person.Running tests your character. It asks what will you do at your lowest moments (injury, pain, constantly not racing well),but it also says be patient because better things are coming. If you just keep putting one foot in front of the other, you will get where you want to be.Just like any run,it may take time, but you will get there.
My first 5000 may not have been how I wanted it to be,but just because I'm not where I want to be right now doesn't mean I'll never get there.

The next time you feel like you can’t do something, think of it like this:
If even Leonardo DiCaprio can win an Oscar, you can do anything!
Today one of my bosses told me that all of his bosses really like me and that if I was ever interested in making my way up the ranks at the job, I could definitely do so. I have no intentions of doing that but it’s always nice to know that I’m doing something right and that someone likes me.
I keep thinking I can handle it... I can't handle it.
