just so u all know i have a yummy challengers ot3 plot rotting my brain rn but i just spent the last like five days writing fics for them and need to study so bad

my biggest weakness is that i naturally gravitate toward spaces with other people who have vague mental health issues and then after a few months the vent-y nature of these spaces gets to be a negative influence and then i mute notifs to save my mood and from there my participation slowly dwindles until i dip forever

there’s no need for me to comment on the ao3 censorship thing lmfao but why r ppl complaining about ao3 not having an algorithm ??? i saw someone say they want a retweet-esque feature where people can push their own fics again if they don’t get attention upon being posted

like in order for that u would need a TL of some sort no?? it doesn’t make sense to push fics after the posting date bc that completely undermines the current search options, whether by date or kudos or whatever

just use tags and market ur fic appropriately to ur audience, whether u want to use other platforms like tumblr or u just want to put more time into writing an effective summary. an archive doesn’t need an algorithm bc its purpose is to store content, not make fanfic influencers lol
