This is dumb and is definitely not serious social commentary but EVERY TIME I have changed identity or started identifying with a new label that label has then become the "weird" queer identity that it's okay to shit on and make jokes about like IMMEDIATELY after. I came out as bi in like 2012... (Anyone who was on here in 2012 KNOWS what I mean). I came out as nonbinary in 2020 (the year of the theyfab discourse lord help us) and this year I have started exploring non-monogamy and am in my first open relationship...
Now all of a sudden I'm seeing constant hate and memes about poly people and people in non-monogamous relationships 👀 LIKE REALLY IT HAPPENED AGAIN??
