Parent Chronicles - (tw vomit)

My Minis go to bed at 8pm. Last night at about 9 pm, I came out of my bedroom to grab some water, and I walked by Amber's bedroom and smelled the distinctive smell of grossness. I open her door, and she is on the floor, sleeping in vomit. All in the carpet, all in her hair, everywhere 😭

I don't know what happened, but I started trying to clean things up. I found a Hall's cough drop in her mess but she swears that she didn't get one in the night... I'm still trying to figure it out 🤣😂 then I had to shower her and get her back to sleep.

I'm pretty sure her sinuses are draining into her tummy making it gross. So, after my doctor's appointment today I'm picking up things to clean her carpet and make my house not smell like throw up 😊

My mom asked me if I was the man or the woman in my relationships. I told her I'm neither. After a pause, she asked me what I was then. Without hesitation I said I'm whatever Jake Gyllenhaal needs me to be. And then... and then she said something so hurtful... "Who's Jake Gyllenhaal?"

watching drive to survive with my a) father, who watched the season on and off with me and is a frenchman who loves pierre and b) my mother, who yells at me on sundays because apparently im wasting my time watching men drive et get richer while im sitting on my ass, and it’s truly an amazing bonding lifechanging experience.

both of them hate immediately hate horner and buxton, asked how he was a journalist since he is so biased lol … mom got mad when i skipped ginger on a horse because she wanted to hear what she had to say, mom also called max a lil cheat, and she is in love with daniel ricciardo’s nose and wondered why he wasnt married / told me i could bring him home. oK then !!¡! also wondered who won the championship in the end and i had to break the news to her ….. she gave up on the rest of the season on the spot. commendable.

Raon: Human, is alcohol tasty? Why do you keep drinking even though you are frowning?

Cale turned his gaze toward the empty chair. Although it looked empty, the invisible Raon was currently sitting there. Cale looked around before sternly starting to speak.

Cale: “No.”

'A six-year-old drinking alcohol? That was not allowed, even if he was a Dragon. What if Raon got drunk and blew up a mountain or something? That would be a giant disaster.'

Update - (tw vomit)

Ok, so I came home, and I got a bucket of hot water and a stiff bristled hand brush and proceeded to brush through and clean out as much as I could.

Once I did that I sprayed Resolve Pet Expert all over the affected area and under the rug. I used the brush to brush that into the top of the carpet and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Then, I got a box of Arm & Hammer EXTRA STRENGTH Odor Eliminator and sprinkled it on the entire carpet. Like the whole box. And after I read the instructions and it said to not sprinkle on damp or wet carpet. Oops 😆 I let that sit for 30 minutes. And now I'm just waiting to vacuum again and then be done with that!

I have every window in my house open and I'm going to leave it that way most of the day since it's finally nice 😊
