What is a good way to jump long distances and from higher up without constantly injuring my ankles and shins from it?I love running and jumping, and I'm really good at it too, but it's much harder and more painful when my bigger jumps get me hurt, and then I have to wait to heal, any suggestions for different landings or take offs?
The key is to move with your momentum, not against it. Instead of attempting a full stop on impact, allow your body to continue with its natural course of motion until it expends itself enough to initiate a stop without hurting yourself. A nice roll can spend enough momentum for you to get back to your feet unharmed, if you have the room for it. Pick your landing zone with care.
And please for the moon’s sake be careful. Even Moonshadows can end up breaking something from being too ambitious.
