This small collection of “Very Short Introductions” is just a few steps away from the Science Library service desk - a handy location for browsing and borrowing!  The series began in 1995 and now numbers over 700 volumes, with many more in development.  Every subject imaginable is represented, from Astrobiology to Zionism.  It is a treasure trove of knowledge.  

Our holdings in print are just a portion of the titles available as ebooks.  Find them with a title search on Very Short Introductions, limited to location Internet.

Technically those loops are basically well shaped uncanny cliffs. From nature how holes are formed into cliffs is floods and rain. It erodes away the ground.
