So one of our projects based on shader networks in Maya (brushed metal) is due today, so last night at around 8 I started rendering out the project on three different computers in the lab (one render layer for each computer). I used the animation lab with the slower computers because I knew I wouldn't be taking up spaces for classes, and the only time I had to check and compile the stuff was at 11 when there was another class in the other lab
So it's rendering over night, and I get there at 11 this morning...and IT'S NOT DONE RENDERING
