(Managed to write this within two days. Which is good since it might be a week or two before I post anything else. Depends on how the groupwork in my university works out. Anyway, here’s Grimmons fluff to you all. See, I’m not evil. And let us laugh at the fact that this was supposed to be 2000 words long.)

“Just the Basic” After a near-disastrous mission, Simmons makes a decision. Simmons wants Grif to work out. Grif does not want to work out. Things don’t really work out the way either of them planned.

Me every time I begin to write a new one-shot: I’ll keep this one short. Under 2000 words. I can do that.

Me two hours later: Oh, this is so gonna be longer than 2000 words.

Yeah, not even halfway with “Just the Basic” and it’s already 2000 words. I just can’t do it.

Also me: Remember, this is a fluff one-shot. You write fluff. As quickly as possible, give them the fluff scenes.

Me two hours later: Lol, let’s give them 2000 words worth of angst first. What’s fluff? Never heard of it.

I’m hopeless.

I saw it! I SAW IT!

Omg when I heard there was a lot of humour I didn't expect THIS MUCH! Felt like I've been sitting through an effing comedy.

The plot was easy, nothing was a surprise, no feels caused whatsoever.

I laughed from the very beginning till the end.

What surprised me was that Stan and Hel loved it. So... we all loved it :D
