Morally ambiguous or morally grey characters take all the awards.
A villain that does good sometimes
A hero that does bad sometimes.
And someone who can be and do both at the exact same time, if they exist.
That is all I need or want.
That is all I care about.
Give me nothing else.
If I don’t feel like slapping them around through the TV screen or rolling my eyes at them then I don’t care for them
If you truly care about a character on TV then you should feel all the emotions. You’re watching a reflection of yourself or other real people in them.
Willow frustrates the shit out of me,… makes me angry and cry. But she also makes me smile and laugh. She makes me scared and question things I’ve never even thought about once in my life before. She invokes many real and confusing emotions. But most of all, she makes me realize that I love her because all of the former is true and all of the former is perfectly okay to feel.
She’s the realist character in the Buffyverse to me because she is complex and she is layered and she is nuanced and she is flawed and she is
… just Willow. And I love just Willow.
Thoughts on willow
1: I like how her love interest in her videos are POC. I don’t know why but it makes me happy
2: one single tread of gold tied me to you
3:Step into the daylight and let it go
Don’t look for me
