I'm sad and I keep telling myself not to be but it's consuming me as usual. it's not fair that this is one of the only emotions my body allows me to feel.

I want it to be winter in Virginia

And I want there to be snow and I want to have the fire going in our fireplace and I want to be reading a book looking out the window at eight at night watching it snow. The sliding glass door with be slightly open and I'll be able to smell the winter-ness and feel the slight chill but it won't matter because I'll have a blanket.

I think this is all coming on right now because I'm pretty sure I'm getting a little bit on the sick side so I'm a little loopy on life right about now.

But over all good day. Someone told me yesterday that they thought I did beauty pageants when I was a kid because I definitely look like I could win some beauty pageants. I think that is one of the nicest things anyone has said to me. I'm not going to lie...I got a little choked up.

But then afterwards I went out with Chance and Jackie and we blasted the second CD in my two-disc special edition of The Best of Bagpipes and drove to Harris Teeter while telling people that we were going to the store, and that we would be back in two hours.

Well let me tell you, friends it only took half an hour.

I can't wait to hang out with Kate tomorrow...I haven't seen her in forever.

Blah, going to bed now since like I said, I think I'm coming down with something.
