I FORGOT TO PUT THIS HERE BUT LIKE... I think a lot about Tu.rning R.ed and at the end of it, and how much Nikko needs that closure like the daughter and mother did. They need that with their uncle but they’re not gonna get it and it hurts them a lot. Because they also strive to be perfect, but they hit roadblock after roadblock of how they just are not perfect in the slightest. To be told “The farther you go, the prouder I’ll be” is something that would help them so much, because they need to realize they can’t be perfect, but they can still keep moving past their mistakes and shortcomings, and still improve themself, without being perfect.
