"I'm..." he decided to avoid the question and stepped back again. "W-well that's good, glad to see you're doing okay"
"JJ," Jack said as he forced JJ to look into his eyes, "I care about you and I want to know what's wrong."
He pulled away a little, rubbing his arm and avoiding eye contact. "Just... wanted to see if you were okay"
"I'm fine." Jack said as he held JJ's shoulders in his hands. "I want to know if you're okay."
"H... hey"
Jack looked at JJ for a few moments before he pulled him into a hug. "JJ you're back! I was so worried about you."

He was pleased at that. No, happier. JJ smiled, a few tears forming in his eyes. He didnt know why but he felt like crying.
Jack wiped at the tears that were starting to fall from JJ's eyes, "Hey," He asked, "Are you okay?"
"Well I don't think any different of you" He began to second guess himself, wondering if Jack wanted to leave. "And not just because we... I mean, but if you want to go"
"No," Jack said. "I don't want to go. I like it here with you." He looked into JJ's eyes, "I'm glad you don't care that I'm a demon either."
"What made you think I would want to leave?" JJ frowned a little before leaning away a little. "If anything... I thought you were the one that would leave me"
"I don't know." Jack said. "I'm just used to people leaving when I'm done with them or me leaving them. Usually they freak out a little bit when they find out I'm a demon."
