The vampiress was nervous as she took to looking into every room of the house she could. She finally stopped and tapped every so lightly upon the others bedroom window. Cyndi prayed that the other wasn't to angry with her leave but this being the second time she didn't know how this meeting would go .

Josuke was sleeping soundly, and he woke up with a snort when he heard a knock on the window. He got up and looked over, seeing a feminine shape before coming over. “...Cyndi?” he asked, opening the window and bringing out Crazy Diamond, just in case it wasn’t Cyndi.

(I honestly didn't think much about that. Did want to touch a little more on Josuke and Cyndi's relationship. One idea was having Josuke get something like an internship for SPW or something along those lines, and I wonder what that would put on their relationship.)

Birthday party crasher

The night was nearly over, the edge of the horizon starting to light up sending a gentle glow across the quaint town. Not a sound could be heard in the streets as a lone man in a thick cloak made his way toward his destination he didn't have much time left. He had to reach that place before the sun made its way over the edge of the edge of the buildings. If his information was accurate, it wouldn't be much farther now.

It was amost dawn when she heard a firm knocking at her door. The only thought on her mind was of who it could possibly be at such an unholy hour. She fumbled with the lock and opened it just a crack. If they were going to try something, they came to the wrong house. She peeked though the crack and froze, The one that looked out at her from under the hood was the last person she expected to see. The last...because he was suppose to be dead.

"I believe a happy birthday is in order." The first words to her in decades.

How long has it been since Cyndi and I met? A few months now? And it's almost Christmas too, so it'll be the first time I spent Christmas with any woman besides Mom, let alone my girlfriend and my daughter. 

Getting a present for Ryoko would be easy enough, but what about Cyndi? I could give her an early morning surprise (that's not breakfast in bed) but that's not enough. Since she likes old western fashion, I could get her a dress, but I don't know anyone in town that makes dresses like that.

Maybe I could take up sewing? It'd be something constructive.
