i think sanemi is the type who would burn the world down for giyuu; he’d do anything to stay by his side
whilst sabito’s the type who’d do anything to make sure giyuu’s safe, even if it meant sacrificing himself or leaving him alone

now im thinking about me n my moots in an rpg and what our attacks would be ...............
When it comes to comics, I think that engaging with the myriad of source material IS important to a point. Comics showcase this rare thing in a sense in that most characters have multiple stories, origins, universes, etc
So you're allowed to pick and chose what you, the reader, considers canon. But you're also allowed to come up with your OWN canon and because of the multi-dimensional nature of the sources, your ideas could very well become canon someday.
I'm a bit of a people pleaser and hate stepping on toes, but the drama that the comics fandoms is soooo exhausting when we're literally talking about if Riddler likes hot chocolate because of one random voice line, or if Scarecrow doesn't like crows because his grandmother trained a flock to attack him. We're not talking political life altering opinions, we're talking about fictional men in spandex.
Please understand that someone else headcanons are not out to hurt you. We can co-exist in peace. Yeah, it's important to read a least a little of the source material, comic, game, movie, etc....
but coming up with headcanons that MAY contradict ONE story is not the end of the world for the fandom. Many people use these characters to cope with real life trauma, who are you to tell them they can't make up their harmless stories, whether they be "problematic" or "cute and fuzzy"
Just chill and let people have fun. Create what makes YOU happy and people will come for that, if you like -insert headcanon-, I'm positive you're not alone.
ughh. my head feels so. cramped.so many people in there its. suffocating
which is weird cuz just a day ago i was doing. okay?? now it just.
feels like i opened pandora's box
its exhausting
but idk why it is. they're prroobably.noteven real.
maybe i just made them up. j cant really tell.
feels ljke placebo but.
i dont onow.
it'll pass eventually. hopefully.
obsessed with observing the fan advertising for the "contemporary trinity of queer shows (go-wwdits-ofmd)" happening at the same time now that all of them are about to/just released new episodes
you open xitter and see the go and ofmd fans going please watch our show we just need three seasons for the story to be complete please watch it we're already at season 2 we'll love you forever then you turn around to wwdits fans who are at the 5th season with a 6th confirmed and theyre like if you watch this shit im going to break into your house and steal all of your cupholders and then come back the next day with new ones to gift your mom then make her fall in love with me and wreck your family and also kill you
Whenever people say there's no way Byler could be canon because the show is set in the 80s and it's "unrealistic" I feel the need to laugh in disbelief
I could launch into a long-winded rant about the existence of queer people AND queer, fully committed couples prior to the legalization of same-sex marriage in the United States but instead, I'll focus on the canon of the show
We already have a lesbian character who is set up to get together with a woman who was previously dating a man. Vickie's character was brought in to be Robin's love interest. Unless one or both of them die (this will NOT happen, knock on wood. rovickie endgame) they'll be together by the end of the show. So...why would a gay character be unable to get together with a man previously dating a woman?
Sure, shows will sometimes write in WLW couples but not MLM and vice versa, but it just feels unlikely in this case. They went out of their way to solidify both Will's and Robin's sexualities. They had arcs where they came out in different ways (Robin to Steve, Will to Jonathan). Now they'll both have arcs where they end up with the people they're in love with
It is not unrealistic for Byler to be canon. We've seen the beginnings of Rovickie already, we know queer couples are possible within the canon
Queer couples exist and fall in love no matter the time period and no matter their circumstances. Get over it
And what happens when we get a scene of El happily watching Byler interact to parallel the scene of Steve happily watching Rovickie interact – Steve and El both being characters who at one point had feelings for one of the parties within the queer ship. Hm? What then?
Ooh if you're still taking prompts/requests, how do you feel about Nico and Zagreus bonding and/or dueling?
will probably do more once i have the will to look up zagreus’s character sprites
