samguel brainrot is hitting so hard rn i miss them already so here are some random silly headcanons

sam is the driver in the relationship and miguel is the most attentive passenger princess you've ever seen

holding her coffee for her to drink while she drives, feeding her snacks, texting people for her, etc

and his hand is practically glued to her thigh, waiting for her hand to let go of the steering wheel

sam is a huge swiftie and she plays almost exclusively taylor in her car so now miguel knows the lyrics to almost every song

(his favourite album is red tv but his favourite song is the best day tv bc he too loves his mom)

(sam's favourite album is evermore and her favourite song is this love tv)

saturday is always date night and they both prefer activity dates so they usually go to the arcade, bowling, laser tag, etc

they did the alphabet date challenge and for c they decided to do cooking, specifically lucille's chicken cacciatore (keeping with the c theme)

if s5ep3 is any indication, miguel is not that great in the kitchen but he tried to help sam any way he could, which was primarily handing her stuff and telling her how pretty she looked

they only disagreed once, when it came to g, because sam wanted to go on a ghost tour and miguel preferred go karting, since they would go on a haunted house for h anyway

they ended up going go karting, because miguel smiled at sam and she forgot what she was saying

miguel's favourite letter was u - underground cave tour (for the next like five weeks his lockscreen was a picture of sam in the goofy helmet and she rolled her eyes at it whenever she saw it)

sam's favourite letter was m - murder mystery dinner (she got super competitive and changed miguel's contact name into 'public enemy #1' bc he solved it like a minute before she did)

they both love to babysit laura so much and especially love taking her to the park

(sam just about melted when she caught miguel taking a nap on the couch with an also sleeping laura in his arms)

I woke up today thinking about Aila and Astarion's life post-canon. About how she gives him the safe place he needs to grow and heal. The safe place to mourn everything he's been through. She helps him to figure out who he is, what he wants and what he enjoys. To live life again.

And on the other hand, he shows her that she doesn't need to run. She doesn't need to hide any parts of herself. Even the jagged, broken ones. If she never wants to see her family again? Fine. If she wants to step away from the thieving and the mercenary work? That's okay too. Because he's not going anywhere.

I'm thinking about how over a year ago Techno went into exile and built himself a home in the arctic, and insisted to himself that he was better off alone. That it was safer for him to be alone, for both his physical safety and so that he wouldn't be betrayed again, to be hurt by those he thought were friends.

And what started off as just a lone little cottage in the snow, is now a commune and safe place for those who need it. It's a home to Techno and Phil, with their joint houses, farms and many pets. It's a home to Ranboo (now Ghostboo), with his little house in the mountain, and now it's a safe place for Ranboo's family - for Tubbo and Michael - to stay after all that's happened.
