I've been speaking with Miss Bridget Blythe about a theory of hers, regarding recent events - those lions, the epidemic, that spell of vandalism, the pageant. We were thinking it might be worthwhile to take this to the Chapter archives, look a little further. Would that be at all possible?

[pm] There are some forms you would need to fill out in advance [attached] and you would need to sign in and sign out during visits. There are several archives which you couldn’t be in unaccompanied, Miss Blythe knows which, and our security guard has several secure lockers at the front desk for you to leave any weapons as we don’t allow them past the lobby for obvious reasons. There are a couple of archives you wouldn’t be able to access but they’re mostly related to dangerous substances and artifacts rather than texts.

You could call in a theory, yes, but I think said “theory” is starting to become more and more real. As in, I’m 93-99% positive this is what we’re up against, depending on the day. Especially given that I just ended up in a dream with a Ceryneian Hind (that’s what was the cause of the vandalism). I can tell you more about my theories, sure! 

Do you have any specific questions or is it more broad curiosity? I support either, FYI, just let me know.

[pm] Miss Bishop, hope you've been well. Just wondering about a sample I brought in the other night, suspected narcotics. Case was an assault on Nestor Street. How'd the tests turn out?

[pm] I just read the file. You okay? You’ve had bad luck lately on getting injured at crime scenes.

Anyways the stuff is being sold as drugs but it’s literally ashes. Like it’s organic material. I’d have to pass it off to see if it was human or not, but it’s definitely something that used to be alive.

So these people are selling literal ashes as drugs.
