He is more than "just a kitten". His hernia repair surgery and neuter are scheduled for next Tuesday. We can not wait any longer. Twig was one of four "unthrifty" kittens born to their feral Mama Marcy just a kitten herself in a shelter. With her behavior and the kittens not thriving they fast hit the euthanasia list. He was "just a kitten". He came into our rescue via the Orlando group and we brought him (along with his Mama and two siblings because one had passed) and all cats down there up here because we believed they weren't getting the best care. He was "just a kitten". The three remaining kittens were touch and go and struggled. We lost the second one. Now all that remained was Twig and his sister Twix, both still very small and behind developmentally for their age. We almost lost Twig twice. But we fought. We knew he was more than "just a kitten". Born with an umbilical hernia we worked to get Twig to gain enough weight to be neutered and have his hernia repair at the same time. The hernia has popped out and we can not wait any longer. He is more than "just a kitten". We are still $260 short for the cost of his surgical blood work and surgery. With all our other vet bills and medicals we could really use help getting there!
