Hi! I just finished reading 'What I Have With You' and I love it SO SO MUCH. But I do have a question. What exactly is 'chuffing'? I've never encountered that in an a/b/o fic before and I was wondering what it sounds like... Thank you so much for that wonderful piece of work!!
HIIIIIII!!! ahhhhhhh thank you so much! i'm so glad you liked it so much! and you know what's funny? i just kind of knew what chuffing was... i think cause i'm a cat person and i go to the zoo fairly frequently when there's not a pandemic going on so i'm used to seeing and hearing the big cats chuff haha! i had a friend writing an a/b/o fic earlier this year... i think it was @jaerie writing her omega wet nurse harry fic actually... and in that alpha louis chuffed at harry and OMG I ALMOST DIED OF HAPPINESS WHEN I READ THAT AND SUDDENLY I WANTED ALL THE ALPHAS CHUFFING POSSESSIVELY AT THEIR PARTNERS.
so anyway. i remembered that and wanted louis to do it almost without realizing what he was doing, so i wrote it into this one, and @so-why-let-your-voice-be-tamed also asked what chuffing was and i was like oh... is this not a common thing? so when i got your ask now as well i just asked @londonfoginacup and @2tiedships2 and they informed me it defo is NOT something everyone knows hah always learning new things!
