Summary: In the middle of a mundane, routine mission, Scott goes missing. He's just... gone. The team spend the next few months looking for him, hoping, even as time wears on, that they'll find him and bring him home.
My thoughts: Really more about Jean and how she deals with Scott being missing. Kind of a Scott character study through Jean’s eyes. The part with Warren and the cereal is just ugghhh. Makes me slightly crazy.

Pinch of salt, because it's from one perspective of grief/mourning: having somebody else close to you experience Some Pain that's big but not Epic tends to cut through the numbness like a shot. Like, the world suddenly screaming at you that 'wow, hey, this Feeling in me isn't the only thing in the world being felt' plus 'wow, hey, I'm feeling concern rn where before I was just numb/angry'.
ur mind.... sokka is 1000% the guy who, even if hes on the brink of mental break, manages to pull his shit together when someone else needs him, because he NEEDS to feel needed.
