I need more people to suffer these thoughts with me! he’d be absolutely excellent, I think -there’s some roles he definitely wouldn’t suit but others he’d be brilliant in. I just briefly considered what his Hamlet and his Orsino would be like, and basically I need him to do a season at the Globe immediately.

How many blankets do I sleep under?: One doona, I gave up on sheets years ago because I just kick them to the end of my bed. Also letting everyone know that I’m so awks online. I want to be your friend I just don’t know how 😘

I'm genuinely surprised he didn't fall in, I wouldn't put it past that giant nerd! He's so precious and I'm so excited to see him again in January, genuinely. What a dork.

Yay I'm back! And to celebrate being connected to the world once more, I'm going to answer this. Thanks Jennifer for tagging me!

So, 5 things I like about myself. Not particularly easy these days but I'm going to make an effort.

1. My eyes. Despite being told multiple times when I was a child that my mum's and my brother's blue eyes were prettier than my brown ones, I still love them a lot.

2. My brain. I think I'm pretty smart and I learn things really fast. Also I have a pretty vivid imagination so I rarely get bored.

3. My (not-so-new-anymore) new boobs. They're not perfect but I still like them a lot better now.

4. My sense of humour, even though sometimes, the only person who's laughing is myself.

5. I like that despite being raised in a pretty bigoted and ignorant family, I turned out to be open-minded and tolerant.

Deep Dish Skillet Apple Pie

For justdancethroughthenight :)

INGREDIENTS:

10 medium sized Apples (we usually do half Granny Smith half Gala)

1 tsp Cinnamon

3/4 C + 2 Tbl Sugar

1 C packed Brown Sugar

2 Pie Crusts

1 Egg White

1/2 C Butter

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350*F (177*C).

Peel, core, and slice Apples. Toss with Cinnamon and 3/4 C Sugar.

Melt Butter in cast-iron skillet on stove over medium heat, add Brown Sugar, and cook (stirring constantly) for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Place 1 Pie Crust in skillet on top of sugar mixture. Pour in apple mixture and compress.

Cut slits in second Pie Crust (for steam to escape) and place on top of apples.

Whisk Egg White until foamy. Brush over top of crust and sprinkle with remaining 2 Tbl Sugar.

Bake at 350*F (177*C) about 1 hour, or until golden brown.

WARNING: Some of the sugar/butter may bubble over the edges while baking. You might want to put a cookie sheet or aluminum foil under it.

If you don’t have a cast-iron skillet, you could make the brown sugar/butter mixture in a sauce pan, then pour it into a deep dish pie pan.
