Hi! I hope this doesn't seem rude, but I'm wondering how someone can be pansexual and aroace? I'm not dissing I'm just confused and trying to learn ❤ I hope you have a great day!

So, overall, I'm aroace. That's different from person to person, but for me, I don't have romantic interest in people, and I don't want to kiss or have sex.

But there are many types of attraction, not just romantic and sexual. I've done a lot of research and I find it quite interesting. There's also aesthetic attraction and sensual attraction (and I might be forgetting one here). Aesthetic attraction is when someone is pretty to look at but you don't want them in bed. Sensual attraction is the need to be close to someone physically but not sexually.

Since I do want to spend my life with someone, or several someones, but their gender doesn't really matter to me, I consider myself pan. I get squishes on people of all genders. For example, I'm sure there are male aroaces who only squish on men, and they could consider themselves gay in addition to aroace. Does that make sense?

Why are specifically animal-face filters not allowed? So sorry if you've already been over this! If you don't feel like explaining or if I have simply been unobservant then I absolutely don't expect any elaboration.

That’s fine!  It’s a problem unique to me, so it bears repeating every now and again.

For some reason, those filters and a lot of masks trigger dissociation in me.  I haven’t figured out why, yet.  But for now, I just try to avoid them.
