So. We're not a drama blog, we will never be a drama blog. But I thought to spread this around as this is the only platform I ever feel safe to use.

The Roblox game, known as "Doom By Fate." Has Killed someone.

A Person named kit had an epileptic seizure due to the new 1x1x1x1 update, which caused her to be hospitalized and later died due to emergency surgery. In which the game didn't provide an Epilepsy mode when the character came out. The Video below explains the situation best.

To Put salt in the wound. The game developer has decided to actively Put down the fact that someone has died due to their negligence:

So? What can you do? If you can, boycott Doom by Fate as a whole, spread the word onto any platform you can. I know this wont get the point across to many, but it shall be a start. Do not play Doom by Fate. The developers made fun of someone who died from epilepsy. Kolossos' happy home's description has been updated with an epilepsy warning. Justice for Kit.

Today we say our condolences to a player who has passed away. His name was Kit and today on April 7 he died by epilepsy by playing doom by fate. Now the community wanted to take this to the creator but how the creator handled this was incredibly disgusting and disrespectful. Justice for kit, dont ever be silent, never be quiet.

I specifically have 2 things to say. Fuck Roblox. Fuck Doom By Fate.

I have various medical conditions that make me unable to do many physical things, and i am always told i can't and warned when i wouldnt be able too. The devs not only didn't have epilepsy warning or mode, but downplayed that kids death and blamed it on them.

Fuck doom by fate.

Doom By Fate #justiceforkit

Ive seen a lot of videos going over what happened but because a lot of people know of the situation and not the game I wanna warn everyone to NOT play the game unless you are going in to downvote it. Since to rate a game you have to play it first.

Doom by Fate has a lot of flashing lights other then just the killer 1x1x1x1. Which is the most egregious example of the flashing but everything in this game flashes, not just 1x.

The menus flash everytime you touch anything. Everytime you get hit or healed the screen will flash red or green. 1x will put a glitch effect over your health and stamina bar like Forsaken but WAY WORSE and then that effect will cover your screen. All of their attacks flash and the model itself has a bunch of flashing shitty effects on it. I saw too that other killers attacks are pretty flashy too.

The worse part? The game didn't use to be like this. My friend played the game before and after the 1x update and none of this shit used to flash. They added all of this recently. If you know anything about epilepsy small things like the menu or characters flashing can cause minor symptoms like nausea, spacing out, and migraines. Not everything causes a seizure but it can lead up to one. And I think what caused Kit's seizure was the flashy attacks 1x does.

Even people without epilepsy can get sick from the gameplay. Please avoid the game at all costs. It's not safe for you and it's especially dangerous for anyone with health conditions.

Epilepsy mode doesn't work. 1x1x1x1 was rushed out and is unfinished and because of that it costed someone's life. I'm not gonna assume Kit's death is fake, as much as i hope it is. No one should die because of a fucking video game. Even if she didn't die, everything in this game is seriously dangerous. It's making people sick even without them having epilepsy. The teams made themselves out to be absolute assholes. I just don't want anyone else hurt.

What to do if someone does have a seizure? I was trained on how to deal with seizures. Why i think Kit passed away was because when someone has a seizure they start to suffocate and choke on their own spit. You lay them on their side, call an ambulance, and watch the time. You count how long the seizure lasts. Sometimes one seizure continues into more seizures. When someone noticed Kit was having a seizure it was too late and she was suffocating. Everyone who experiences seizures should never be left alone because of this. Even if they don't suffocate, they can be fatal because they can fall and injure themselves. Not a lot of people die because of seizures, but someone did. Please be safe 🫂

even though ive been reblogging stuff about it, i should say: do not play doom by fate. a person had a seizure while playing due to lack of epilepsy settings and died in surgery, and certain staff members for the game have been mocking her death on top of this. rest in peace kit.

scroll past this post if serious drama is none of your business. i won't make drama posts on the regular, but i'm just really angry about something in particular. just know that i'm speaking off of what i know; please correct me if i got any details wrong.

i don't play asymmetrical games, because they don't interest me, and the fandoms are usually a bit too much for me. however, whatever crack Doom By Fate is on needs to be talked about.

if you're going to make a game with any kind of strong visuals, flashing lights, or whatever, then you could at least give a shit about telling players that they exist. some people need those warnings and settings to accommodate for them.

if you don't know, a player by the name of Kit has tragically passed away due to an epileptic seizure occurring while playing Doom By Fate. the game itself did not have any warning, nor did it have any settings to help make the game more friendly for those with epilepsy.

the way that a developer responded to this situation was exceedingly uncalled for. "oh, an epileptic died? oh well," is essentially a bad summary of what they said. if you really think that brushing it off like that is going to help your case, then you should not be put into a position of power.

this goes for Roguesweeper too, even though it hasn't killed anyone. it might not need it as much as Doom By Fate did, but it's better to have one anyway.

just because most players may not have epilepsy doesn't mean nobody has it.

don't fucking kill people because of hubris and ignorance. you have no excuse.
