sorry it took me so long to answer this message but i’ve thought about this a lot and i don’t think any of my words would do it any justice. i think you should just watch the pilot. it’s one of the best pilots i’ve ever seen. IT’S A MASTERPIECE. and i think it describes everything that the show is about.

[chorus of angels descends from the heavens and sings songs] also. you know tim's friend that got killed in season three or four, the ex military guy??? he totally had a crush on him. and once he comes out rachel and raylan make all sorts of t shirts for him and paint his entire desk the colors of the bi flag and tim is just "smh. smh."

i have a theory that tim and rachel and raylan (and sometimes art) all sit around and tell "war stories" about their childhood and how raylan's dad was terrible and tim's called him all sorts of awful names and how rachel's sister died. and they all kind of drink and cry and eventually try to outdo each other with awful stories until they start making them up, and then all the bad experiences create good ones in a weird sort of way. then they all fall asleep and rachel steals raylan's hat

bisexual raylan givens is the canon of my heart but he's closeted and uncomfortable with it. also, the guy at tim's table in that bar 50 miles outside lexington was his date. it was their only date because the guy gave lousy head.
