(it’s cause i think the ship is actually very inappropriate given the canonical relationship between sammie and remmick) (cause in what scene did yall get a hint that they wanted to fuck or anything of the sort ??) (was it when remmick was drowning sammie in that river after he left a permanent scar on his face?) (OH! maybe it was when sammie had to jump from at least 15 feet to TRY to run from remmick after said man damned the love of his little life to vampirism and a painful death) (NO! i think it was maybe in the way remmick gripped sammie’s face when he said “i want your songs and i want your stories, and you’ll have mine”) (& i know what you’re thinking! that sounds like a such a odd thing to say to someone you’re sexually attracted to…(cough cough, this is a textbook colonizer ppl!!) but in the context of this movie it’s kinda sexy right?😩🫳🏽)
(yeah it’s not that sexy actually and maybe we should all start to think about why we find shipping a literal victim with their abuser (fictional or not) satisfying for our own mental pleasure) (and i know what you’re thinking (again) “it’s just a movie?” “it’s just a fic” but you’d be surprised how many of our inner most fictional desires that we consider “harmless” are rooted in real life perversion😵💫 )
also there are actually some other non-canonical homosexual ships from the movie we could be getting into (and that would EAT) but sammick is not it i fear.
