Always seeking out my happy place.

Some people probably know me as the girl who hides indoors as much as possible, but it’s not because I dislike sun exposure. I hate humidity, which is an inevitability in the Philippines. That’s why the only times you’ll see me willingly exposing myself to the sun would be during the hot air balloon fiesta, at a race track, or at the beach.

I went with my boyfriend and his family to Pico de Loro last May to celebrate boyf’s birthday and to get away for a bit. For those who aren’t familiar, it’s a residential resort village-type place with access to the beach and several swimming pools. Y’all know what I was after, right? HAHAHA

I will take any excuse to go to a beach. I swear, saltwater solves everything! My skin gets clearer and I’m just a whole lot happier when I have sand between my toes and waves crashing nearby. I wish I could go more often.

A break from everyday life gets better when spent with your favorite person, and we walked around a bit and bowled at the country club... and he let me run off because I got distracted by the ponies. XD

This year has allowed me to travel quite a bit and just... heal. I’m always going to seek out my happy place, and I hope I get to keep visiting beaches from now on.
