Thinking about Moira and...

Thinking about how she’s this random college educated, scientist, from Ireland who ends up with Blackwatch.

McCree, an American from Santa Fe who was with the Deadlock gang.

Gabriel Reyes, American, from Los Angeles, whose been in the military basically his entire life.

Genji Shimada, Japanese, from Hanamura, whose a ninja born and trained.

Moira? Ireland, college, scientist, entirely too tall for her own good, skinny, genius, geneticist, woman, blunt, talented. Is the only person with no canon background (yet) in violence, and still goes out on field ops with Gabriel Reyes’ own team and holds her own. Regardless of any experiments or gear she’s done or develops that takes a certain skill level, mind set, and physical ability.

Things to think about.

Just how much of a bad ass is Moira?

How much of her rudeness comes from being constantly tossed into situations where she is the odd one out and assuming before hand (rightly or wrongly) that people aren’t going to like her? How many misunderstandings were there because of cultural miscommunications or differences of opinion because of how different everyone's lives had been?

She still did her job, and regardless of Gabe’s, McCree’s, or Genji’s personal feelings about her at that time they still trusted her to be out in the field with them and help keep them alive while taking enemies down.

Is Moira a “good” person? No. Is she a LOT more complicated then most people give her credit for? Yes.
