Before Kpop

I was tagged by hugs-kisses-pandas  :D Thank you!!!

So, first is what I listened to before I got into kpop, and then what I thought about kpop.

Well, I still listen to a lot of what I listened to before. And my music is really varied, because my dad’s music is really varied, and that’s what I grew up listening to. I had have a metric crap-ton of Glee on my ipod, because I was really into Glee, when it was on, and I have a lot of 80’s rock and ladies of rock, like Alannis Morisette and Melissa Ethridgem and there’s some Boston and Will Smith, but there’s also some Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco (which, fun story: I listened to them a lot in middle school, but then for some strange reason stopped listening to them??? And then in my last year of college I heard Fall Out Boy’s new music and I was like, WHY THE FRICK FRACK DID I STOP LISTENING TO THESE DUDES, THEY’RE AWESOME). There’s not a whole lot of country, because I’m not into the “back of the pickup truck” country where it’s all “that boy isn’t good enough for my little girl” and “’MURICA”. But I do really like “Online” by Brad Paisley because my cousin is in the song!! And he got to play at the CMA’s with Brad Paisley! (There’s a marching band that plays, and my cousin played the trumpet in the band. :DDD) There’s also a whole lot of movie and TV scores because i love movie music.

Well, then in college, shit went down and I had to move out of my dorm like ASAP, so this chick that I’d only known for like a week was all “hey, do you wanna crash in my dorm?” and I’m like, “HELL YEAH THANK YOU SO MUCH OMG” so we became friends, and then she got a new roommate the next semester, and their combined efforts got me into kpop (Fantastic Baby was the beginning of my descent into kpop). (Which, thank you guys.)

When I was first getting into kpop I thought it was really  cool and I liked the super fun music videos  (but Doom Dada threw me off at first.) and the dances and the harmonies, but they kept changing their hair colors so I couldn’t keep up with who was who and I was like?????? PICK A HAIR COLOR SO I CAN FIND YOU DAMNIT. And like, if I remember correctly, Liz and Kinsey kept saying “if it’s annoying, tell us” and I was like NAH SON KEEP IT COMING I WANNA SEE MORE OF THE BLUE HAIRED DUDE FROM FANTASTIC BABY. (I think that’s how it went down. I could be wrong, tho.)
