What I learned my freshman year
What I learned my freshman year:
1. Don’t make out with anyone while you are drunk
2. There are some people that you will never be compatible with so let it go
3. Sometimes silence is fun
4. Having a chill day doesn’t make you a nerd
5. Alcohol is poison!!!
6. Never do drugs even if people try to convince you to do otherwise
7. Sometimes you get the wrong idea about someone and get hurt. It happens and all you can do is accept that you were wrong and that they are who they are. Even if that person is someone you thought was your friend
8. Making friends can be hard but when you stop focusing on it; friends come so quickly
9. Its ok to just want to chill instead of party.
10. Getting involved can be scary but worth it.
11. Roommates may change (literally)
12. Sometimes being an adult means admitting that you screwed up and then fixing it.
13. Nothing is long lasting in freshman year: everything is changing
14. God works in mysterious ways
15. Trying new things can be a lot of fun!
16. Sometimes God tells you to wait and even though it drives you insane, that is all you can do.
