Hi! I don't understand the ending of Just One Last Trick, why is the phone cracked and did they reunite?

oh. That's the first time someone is talking to me about the ending in this way.So okay.Here is the deal:On page 16 we see Sherlock watching John picking up the phone on the roof where he dropped it. But because we know John thinks Sherlock's dead something must have happend to the note (the recording of the conversation with moriarty) that he left. John didn't find it. But he keept the phone anyway (sentiment). But the screen was broken from the crash on the roof. Didn't mean the phone itself was broken. John tried to text sherlock, but thought of himself he was silly, because the phone he texted to was always right next to him.The last page is just the phone itself with the Sherlock-like note and signature. If John saw this message. If he opened the door for his dead friend. If they reunite...This is all left to you as a reader. It's an open end and it should remain as this.But I'm happy you read it :D thank you
