I saw your ask to Linkara - I'd also suggest the Deadpool/Hawkeye miniseries from a few years ago. 1. it's a great little story arc and 2. if you like it, you can check out the Fraction/Aja/Wu Hawkeye book that connect a little into that story (but not in a way where you couldn't read the team-up as its own thing).

Cool, thanks for the recommendation!  I’ll definitely check it out when I get the chance, maybe even check out the other team up book.  Also been reading the new Deadpool and Spiderman crossover since it looks like Joe Kelly (who everyone says is one of, if not the best Deadpool writers in the places I’ve researched) is writing it and been really enjoying it.  Thanks for looking out :)

RE: the Nightwing Annual 2, it's also just gross because it pits Kori and Babs against each other in ways they really weren't. Dick had a relationship with Kori that ultimately ended (at least romantically). Years later, he and Babs had a relationship. That's, like ... normal. And healthy. In the general continuity, the two women aren't really RIVALS for him, but this Annual pushes them to be and it drives me nuts.

Yeah, so true. That comic reflects badly on everyone involved and seems to be there to needlessly victimize Babs. The flashbacks with Dick and Babs are cute, but why did Kory need to be a part of this? At all? Why couldn’t they tell a story about Dick and Babs’ engagement and leave it at that. Two adults later on in their lives picking up the pieces of a childhood crush. There’s no reason to pit two women against each other as if Dick gets to “win” one of them at the end of the day.

Yeah, this annual is a sore spot for me. Thankfully it doesn’t exist.
