Naruto was NEVER a monster. Sure he had Kurama inside him but he never saw himself as the monster.
He was alone, hated, no one gave a damn. When your say 10 years old how would you react? When not even one kid wants to play with you. Or even acknowledge you. Or parents tell you to stay away from him. Sure maybe Mizuki couldve convinced him to be a monster. But Iruka saved Naruto. I mean he took a freakin demon shuriken to the back for him. And mind you Kurama(Under obitos genjustu) killed Irukas parents. Iruka cudve left him but no he choose to save him.
Of course overtime Naruto earns that respect and even saves the village numerous of times. Not once did he believe he was the monster.
Overtime he learns that Kurama isnt even a monster just filled with rage and does everything in his power to cleanse him of that anger.
And then there wass the time he met his Dad....now that was deep. Nowhere did Naruto ever seen himself as not human. He cried because he saw his Dad...and get this. His Dad....was his idol. He wanted to be as strong as the fourth hokage...who get this turns out thats his Dad. That really will mess you up. So yes he is allowed to cry. He found out his das was the strongest ninja. (Dont get me started on his mom lol)
Naruto grown to such a amazing hero. I doubt he ever thought of himself as a MONSTER. He just wanted to show everyone that he wasnt a monster THEY thought him to be. This Ninja went to hell and back for his friends, and his village.
