Dear ‘True’ Michonne Fans
I try to choose happy every day but there are some days where you just have to vent.
This is one of those days.
I am sick and I am damn tired of Michonne’s ‘true’ fans lamenting the destruction of her character now that she’s gotten Rick’s ‘white dick.’
Their words, not mine. Trust me, I would never be so crass.
So....to you fans of Michonne who think she is now weak, a babysitter, a housewife.....that ‘Richonne only benefits Rick’s wants and needs’, that Michonne is now lost as a character of her own....
I say this....
Michonne is a leader....
who is listened to by another leader....
Michonne once again has a FAMILY
to help her recover from the one she lost.
Michonne has never been, is not, nor ever will be WEAK.
I don’t know what show you’re watching or what mental baggage you’re carrying that prevents you from enjoying the show and the incredible story arc your ‘favorite’ character is going through....and frankly?
I don’t care.
Michonne is her own person, discovering what makes her happy and claiming that happiness for herself. She’s doing this while being a leader in her community, maintaining her warrior status and learning to be a mother again.
If you can’t get over your anger that you didn’t get your way (what IS your way? Ezekial? Daryl? Morgan? Really?), then STOP WATCHING THE SHOW.
Please. GO AWAY. Make today the first day of your liberation. The rest of us Michonne fans, the real ones, will do just fine without you.
