Here he is, my Damien Leith doll! It was hard narrowing down a 'look' for my first real person inspired doll, but since he's about to do a few fabulous Roy Orbison shows I thought I'd go with that one. So happy how he turned out! :D (I'd be happier if I could make it to a show though! :P )

I so glad that the guitar looks like a guitar! It was interesting to design something with such a different shape. It's also a newly designed doll pattern, which I think I'm going to be using again in the future! Now to figure out my next project... or maybe continue working on an old one... :P

Quiet on my end

Hey crocheters!  I know things have been really quiet on my end for a while. I’m still around, still alive and kickin’! I just haven’t been spending much time at my computer lately, what with being busy with my child and nieces (and my brother, his wife, and other housemates), the weather getting nicer, and honestly I’ve been playing a lot of Fallout 3 lately. But I’m always looking for inspiration for new content and new ecards! Feel free to send in some things you’ve been working on, or have recently finished, or are just super duper dang proud of!!!  Happy crocheting!

The little guys are so sweet and always bring a smile to my face. So yeah, things I like often end up in crochet. (Could have been worse, just ask Captain America. XD)

Nope, no pattern, sorry. (It’s just some wonky boxes and a bit of fiddling with wire, really)

Baby blanket, once again.

As last time, he pattern is this one but without the popcorn stitches.

One of the scarfs I made as Christmas gifts. It was well appreciated.

Another small blanket. My grandma loved to knit, and when she passed, I inherited all her yarn. There were some balls of sock yarn amongst it all, and since I’m not much of a knitter, I decided to make granny squares out of it.

This blanket was inspired by a cushion I once saw here. I loved the idea of having all the same centers in differently coloured grannies.

The pattern is this one but without the popcorn stitches.

Hey crocheters!

The holidays were super busy for me, especially considering the increase of people in my household. I just got super busy, and don’t really spend much time on the laptop anymore! But it’s a new year, and I’m going to try my very best to keep up and add content as often as I can.
