Cairo: Whats your favorite quote?

I don’t really have a favorite quote, but I like this one that Martin said: “I’m a creature of habit, mashed-potato comfort, I like rugs. Our sofa’s squishy. Maybe too squishy - it’s hard to get up sometimes.” It’s just really cute.

Mumbai: What is your favorite scent

The smell of coffee, and I like the smell of lemon a lot as well :)

Hulloooooo! I loved the pirate Sherlock story you wrote with Armada! Just wanted to say hi! So...what made you guys decide to pair Molly with Janine? Interesting choice!

I think the first decision was we really wanted Molly to discover who she was and what she wanted while she was on Sherlock’s ship, to the point of feeling like it was more a home to her than where she had come from. We also knew we wanted Janine to be an important crew member--we thought she’d make such an excellent pirate!

We also wanted Sherlock’s ship to be a place where people who have felt different or discriminated against could come together as equals, so having people of different races, different ethnicities, different genders, and different sexualities on the ship became important as well. 

Once we wrote a few scenes with Molly and Janine together, it just seemed to click, so we took it further and made them a romantic pair as well. Molly’s initial quietness contrasted nicely with Janine’s outspokenness, and as Molly opened up and decided she liked the pirate life, it was natural for her to gravitate towards Janine as a role model in a way--a woman who was obviously living life on her own terms and loving it, which is what Molly wanted so badly for herself.

Are you being careful with your Heart? - I fell in love with this fic the first time I read it! Question numbers: 10, 3, 8, and 12!!

3. What's your favorite line of narration?

Sherlock refuses to classify what he does as swooning. But he's swooning.

(Two lines but oh well!)

8. Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?

The condoms thing actually that Mycroft left behind for Sherlock, my sister gave me a box of condoms when she left for college and hid it in my nightstand and I was HORRIFIED when I found it! She thought it was quite funny. Oh and kind of the set up of the rugby practice field, my high school had a path that passed by all the fields and the soccer field sat down a hill from the path. I could just picture teen Sherlock Holmes sitting perched on the path and hugging his knees and swooning over Rugby Captain John Watson at practice =)

10. Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

Because teen!nerd!Sherlock and teen!rugby!John are my JAM! It’s my absolute favorite pairing so writing it was super super fun =)

12. What do you like least about this fic?

Umm... probably just that it was one of my earlier fics so I think my writing has improved since then... but otherwise, I really do love everything about it ha!
