well, jac gets addicted to people. it's most likely because she only had her brother for a while, then her childhood best friend became a soldier, so everyone leaves. but with alex, she just doesn't care? i mean. in a way she cares for him, but at the same time she could shoot him point blank in the heart and feel nothing but contempt that she got blood on her clothes. like. it's weird. so he's forgiven for acting like/ being a dick

i think the healthiest relationship jac has with anyone is with alex.

and that makes me sad.

because literally they just argue, pretend to date, and have sex.

but they use each other all the time

and she's not terrified of losing him.

Shang slowly lifted a hand to his cheek, eyes wide. 

Bewildered and frozen to the spot where he stood, his delayed reaction time prevented him from chasing down the stranger and effectively pummeling him.
