L'oiseau de feu - {Krystal&Soohyun}
Elegant. Graceful. Balletic. Those were all words no one would ever use to describe the young man that had just entered the ballet studio, his rather gruff exterior displaying quite well how he presented himself on stage. With most of U-Kiss’ choreographies focusing on the powerful aspects of dance, he had mastered precise movements executed at just the right second to achieve perfect synchronization, and that had been fitting for all of their comebacks so far, since their concepts had all been on the manly side - except for their debut days, but Soohyun preferred not to think about those -, yet as the leader of a group that still lacked recognition in their home country, he was always striving to improve, and no obstacle seemed too great for him when it came to ways he could help his other group members and bring happiness to his fans; therefore he had decided to visit this ballet class. Broadening their horizons seemed like a good way to possibly gather more fans, so through the class, he was hoping to improve in the area of flowing, fluid movements instead of the abrupt ones he was used to, because he firmly believed that that would be helpful one day. At first he had planned to bring the entire group, but that hadn’t quite worked out, as Eli, for example, had been so opposed to the idea that not even his leader could convince him to come, and others had schedules that kept them busy, so he ended up going with just Kiseop, but he supposed that one was better than none, and he certainly was glad he wasn’t going there alone, for he already knew he’d probably end up making a fool of himself somehow.
Almost as soon as they had entered and had found a place at the back of the studio - they didn’t want to be in the way of the regular students after all -, Soohyun fell into a state of deep confusion, for he did not even understand what they were supposed to do now. The teacher was nice, very much so actually, or maybe it had something to do with them being idols, but still, they went on with the class immediately after welcoming and introducing them to the students, which was perfectly fine, really; he hadn’t come to get any special attention. The problem was that the orders that reached his ears were in some language he absolutely didn’t understand, presumably French, so he just stood there, helplessly raising one eyebrow as the other students began their warm up while he was left standing there, repeatedly blinking as he waited for an explanation from the teacher that he knew was unlikely to ever come. His gaze momentarily flickered to Kiseop, who appeared to just copy the students’ movements as best he could, but Soohyun wanted to do this right, so he just approached the girl who stood closest to him with a small smile on his lips. “Hey, excuse me?” Whilst speaking, he bowed his head in greeting. “I’m Soohyun, nice to meet you. Sorry to disturb you, but, um… what exactly are we supposed to be doing right now?”
