Sure, you can have Miyako being badass since most of the pain isn’t written yet.

She swept up onto Nefertimon’s back, clung tightly to the freezing edge of her chest plate as they rose and followed Holsmon. So far up, the mountain wind was a whiplash, and it cut through their clothes easily. She could feel the strain of Nefertimon’s muscles as she fought to fly straight; Digmon wasn’t managing it even in the slightest, slip-sliding at the wind’s whims, not truly meant for the air the way the rest of them were.

Ahead of them, Holsmon was already in position and he wasn’t waiting. He double-checked the position of the patrol directly beneath him, then tucked in his wings and dove; atop him, Miyako tucked close and didn’t bother grabbing for her hat when the wind stole it away. Hikari nudged Nefertimon after him at half-speed, watching the red-brown streak of him as he cleared meters of airspace faster than the watchtowers could react; Hikari snatched Miyako’s hat out of its slow fall to the ground before Nefertimon started to rise again.

Now far below, Holsmon snapped his wings out to slow down; still, he was too quick for the patrol to react to and his back talons closed around an Icemon. Cargo secure, Holsmon charged for the valley entrance. An alarm went up, but Holsmon had all the speed he needed to escape and begin a lazy climb up again. Hikari could just make up Miyako throwing both hands in the air in glee. She smiled, waved at the rest of her team, and as one, they turned and flew deeper into the mountains. Holsmon caught up to them easily; Miyako was wild-eyed, fierce and flushed, triumphant and messy. Icemon was giving them all dirty looks, but as high up as they were, wasn’t struggling.

Takeru whistled. “That was brilliant,” he shouted.

Miyako laughed. “I don’t know what feels better,” she said around a smile of vicious glee, “Actually pulling that off, or knowing I stole Motomiya’s move.”

It took Goro much longer than normal to get home, something that almost had Yusuke worried. He would have sketched some to pass the time, but the fact of the matter was that his muse was fleeting and he would only get frustrated with his inability to focus. Either that, or he would gain his muse and thus be utterly distracted by the time Goro arrived. Neither was a good option, so instead Yusuke spent the time catching up with his reading.

He bounced up to his feet at the sound of the door, moving to stand alongside the table that had been cleared of its usual clutter. A cloth covered the stains upon it, and beyond that, it was obvious that a good amount of effort had been put into the place settings. It seemed to be textbook ‘romantic dinner’, short of the candles being lit. Yusuke quickly realized it, reaching for the lighter to spark the wick, hiding it behind his back just as Goro entered.

His smile was a touch sheepish, but he was proud of his work despite it all. He bowed towards him in greeting, raising his gaze to meet Goro’s. “I was inclined to believe you would prefer staying in tonight, so yes, I ordered sushi for us. Please, make yourself comfortable and take a seat.”

Don’t tempt him and most definitely don’t tell him they’re shido’s or he’d have a fit lol

My muse has been given a dragon egg that will hatch soon, send “Are you keeping it warm?” for a response.

“I’m trying. At this point I think even putting it in a lava flow wouldn’t be warm enough for this little guy.”

Still… it seemed to react better when it was simply pressed against Goro’s bare belly while sleeping. But he wasn’t going to mention that.

“…..What if he doesn’t like warmth?”

“Of course he likes it warm!”

“All eggs like warmth and plenty of water.”

Kouichi was probably thinking of a digiegg, but still.
