With one father a stuntman and the other a make up artist, the Charioteer spent most of their childhood on set in Pinewood. A young and impressionable kid, it came as no surprise that they too decided to dedicate their life to the world of on-screen acting. With a passion for flair and all the courage needed for breathtaking stunts, they made their debut on screen at the age of nineteen. Success, while it lasted, was glorious. And then the accident. A careless moment, a blind spot, an extra standing where she shouldn't have been. The Charioteer lost their job and their reputation as promising new talent. Haunted by their mistake they fell into alcohol, and when the money ran out, theft. The Red Rose casino should never have been a target for a group of three. With both co-conspirators dead before they reached the getaway car, all the Charioteer could do was drive. Impressed by the two hour car chase it took to catch them, the Crimson Monarch decided against corporeal punishment in favour of a job offer under the condition of sobriety. The Charioteer accepted without hesitation, happy to finally be back behind the wheel. It's a job with more responsibility than they truly want to bear, but the pay is excellent, and nothing beats the rush of having the gas pedal flat and the light of sirens fading into the distance.

His skill with a needle and talent for design have never been an issue, but his arrogance and bad attitude have cost him many a job. When you know you're the best at what you do, how are you supposed to put up with the amateurs? After the fifth time he loses his job, Scissorhands decides to open up his own tailor shop. The shop rapidly outgrows its humble origins and six years later they're up and running on the corner of Savile Row in London. It doesn't take long for the Crimson Monarch to begin frequenting the place, bringing with him a large yet unsavoury clientele. But Scissorhands doesn't care. As long as they know he's the only one they'll ever need, that's all he cares about.

Codename: Pied Piper

They have a degree in behavioural psychology which they use in the most unorthodox of ways. Someone needs to keep the lower ranks of the Jabberwocks staffed with capable (but expendable) hands, and the Pied Piper has the best nose for fresh criminal talent. Previously a guard at a maximum security prison, the Pied Piper has long since figured out that it's more fun bringing criminals to the crime than keeping them away. They're good with people and even better at knowing who has the potential to be great. Once they have their eyes set on a target, it's recruitment or death.

Codename: Jack of Clubs

Gender: Male

Age: 25+

Growing up in juvie wasn't easy but it taught the Jack of Clubs all he needs to know about reading people, and then kicking their ass. He's released after a seven year sentence, just in time for his eighteenth birthday, which leaves him homeless, unemployed, and with a criminal record. Life is hard and survival is never guaranteed, but the Jack of Clubs knows there's more to life than begging and scraping by. Luck comes in the shape of an assassination attempt on the Crimson Monarch. They're outside the Red Rose when it happens, a drive-by designed to take out the leader of the Jabberwocks once and for all. The Jack of Clubs takes the bullet instead and is rewarded for his bravery (or sheer dumb luck) with a job as casino bouncer. He's tasked with keeping the riffraff outside and dealing with any disturbances inside. It pays handsomely, and it's never bad to have the leader of a gang owe you their life.

Codename: Cinderella

Gender: Female

Age: 20s

Cinderella has always loved to cook. It's a family tradition to teach kids how to work the stove before they're even old enough for school, and Cinderella learnt from the best. With two Michelin star chef parents and several family owned restaurants, she's been surrounded by food all her life. But following in her parents' footsteps isn't all she wants. After culinary school, Cinderella decides to open her very own food truck. Refusing to take money from her parents she decides to employ a loan shark to get her business started, striving for independence. Unfortunately, vegan Tex-Mex doesn't sell as well in London as in her native California, and the business begins losing money fast. Unable to repay her loans Cinderella falls into the hands of the Jabberwocks, who decide to use her business to launder their profits rather than have her killed. Her truck becomes successful overnight but the Jabberwocks are interested in more than just monetary repayment. She cleans their money on the side, lucky to be alive and working the job of her dreams, even with the threat of death hanging over her head like mistletoe.

Code name: The Empress

Beauty and poise, all wrapped up in a tight fitting dress and heels sharp enough to slice through skin. At least, that's what people see when they feast their eyes on the Empress. She's been working at the Red Rose casino for a while now, encouraging gamblers to spend more and push their luck further than they should. An encouraging whisper here, a well-placed touch there -- she's irresistible in every way, and she's weaponised it to perfection. A lover of cards at heart, she can often be found by the Blackjack table with a champagne flute in hand and a wealthy client wrapped around her little finger.

Code name: The Sun

With a deadly focus and an incredible skill for the tiniest of details, the Sun is an irreplaceable asset for the Jabberwocks. He keeps their books immaculate and up to date, and makes sure that those indebted the group pay up on time -- no matter how. Unfortunately for the Jabberwocks, having someone like the Sun be in charge of their financials has opened them up to an attack from within. His interests lie with the money and his loyalty to the Crimson Monarch is shaky at best. With the Moon at his side he's slowly been building up his own personal network of names and connections, and so the unasked question remains; who will he burn, and when?

A beautiful and charming shade of manipulative, the Moon will talk her way out of and into anything. Most people don't think twice before caving into her demands, which makes her one of the Jabberwocks' most efficient collectors. She prefers words over violence, but there's something to be said about a beautiful woman with a little blood on her fingertips. Released from prison only a few days ago she's back on the streets she's made her own, red lipstick and nail polish matching the blood that's ready to be spilled.
