update about femke @jwtrash

for those of you who are wondering about femke, who deleted their blog today, i thought you might want to know. i’m talking to them now, and they’re alright, they’re with family and safe. Femke did this to make them self happier. They decided to take a break from the internet for a while, and doesn’t know when/if they’ll be coming back, but the important part is that fem’s alright. much love & thanks for all of your support x

i hope that you're happy with what you've done, you've been in the net an you know the supportive and lovely people who are there and you know that there are no strict rules as femke said in her post, i'm really disappointed, i thought that you were better than this, you know better than anyone that the net is not a dictature at all, anyone can leave whenever they want, maria is not controlling, just because someone made a mistake you shouldn't treat them like then when they've helped you

I’m not sure who this is, coming to me under the cowardly protection of anonymity that tumblr messaging system allows for (although i have a good idea), but if you understand what happened then you know that I am justified in what I did, to protect a friend. 

There are many faults in what you’re saying, that I owe anyone anything, that the net was not a dictatorship, that there are not strict rules on what you can or cannot do in the net, but I will say only this in direct response: 

I do not react this way when someone makes a mistake, because I recognize that we are all human and mistakes are inevitable (in fact, I’ve made quite a few myself!) I react this way because Maria refuses to own up to the mistake that she made, and refuses to try in any way to fix it, or to do the right thing by deleting the post and apologizing to femke for having hurt her. 

I’m sorry that you’re disappointed in what I did, but if it’s disappointing that I called out the truth and the faults of what went on, and if it’s disappointing to help to protect a friend, than I’d rather be disappointing than good, or whatever good is in your eyes.

If you have any more questions, or anything else to say, I would kindly ask  you to come off anon, for the sake of my friend Femke, and for all of my followers, I’d like to keep most of the rest of this discussion off of my blog and to continue on as normal.

if i ever post something with your trigger and it's not tagged, or something that should not exist in the first please, please let me know the mistake so that i can fix it. i recognize that i am not a perfect person (and that no one is) and i want tumblr to be a good please for you, and for everyone. ta x

i am terribly upset to have woken up to a problem that has only gotten worse. i would appreciate it if you all sent femke jwtrash some love right now, because they are being needlessly hated on.

princessbottomlock maria is amazing and supportive and her blog is top top top notch!!

kinklock ashleigh is my real father and also just a fantastic blog and who understand trash john like no other (and teaches me terrible things about kinks why)

maryismoran kim is really great and cares a lot but also has a really fantastic blog and i she's also a wonderful person who is not afraid to unapologetically lover herself and her friends which is great. 

i would do so many more! but these are five :-)

Hey I was just wondering what is going jwtrash and all that? I'm very confused

Since you are not the first person to ask this, and since maria thewomvn is replying to this question with a "i have better things to think about" I will give you an answer, and I'll post it publicly, after having asked for femkes permission. Maria answered a 'blog rate' ask on her blog about femke in a way that made femke uncomfortable, and quite upset. When femke messaged her and asked her to take it down, Maria refused to and was rather rude in response. Femke, who at this point was very upset, messaged me and a few other people for help, and on our own accord we confronted maria about it via tumblr messaging system. Her answers were dismissive, and all together brushed us off and told us that we should not be bother (because it was between her and femke) but she told a bunch of people, so this was clearly untrue. 

She then said that she would only talk to Ana aconissa (the other user on the ask), and Ana asked her to take it down (but for some reason she has not). 

Now, she is basically 'replying' to anything we're saying in a superior, condescending way, and dodging the fact that what she did was wrong and that she hurt another human being, probably because of the safety net anonymity that the internet gives people. 

Frankly, I am no longer sure how to approach this problem, so I am just going to help femke in any way I can to make sure she's not too upset and I'm going to continue to question what happened. I am not posting this because I think I'm being a savior, or whatever, I am posting this because my friend is hurt and she's my family, and this is what family does for family. 

I hope this clears it up.

zimmers (in lieu of replying to this because it would be an incredibly long post ill reply here) - If maria truly wanted just to talk to femke, she wouldn't have told you or anyone else, and her replies to femke were not conversational or trying to solve a problem, they were dismissive and made no attempt to solve the problem or apologize for not deleting the post. if she felt bad, she would delete it and apologize to femke, and that would be that.
