Someone was spoon feeding Voldemort information on them, and the Order had just started to put together the pieces. They had no idea who the spy was, and they had no idea what information got to Voldemort’s ears.
“James, I just --- what if something went wrong?” She gave a pleading look to the man in front of her. She loved him, he knew that --- they’d been even talking about marriage. Yes, they were only nineteen, but everything was happening so fast, and who knew if they’d be alive the next day -- why wait?
“I can’t lose you.” Not him too -- she had already lost her parents, her sister, her best friend, to this war, and if she lost him too -- she wouldn’t be the same. He was her anchor, her rock.
